This Privacy Policy describes how AIWhatBot (“we,” “us,” “our”) — a product operated by Salesground (the parent company, registered in Pakistan) — collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (aiwhatbot.com) and our AI Sales Agent service for WhatsApp.
By using AIWhatBot, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you sign up, request a demo, or use AIWhatBot, we may collect:
- Account info: name, business name, email, phone number, WhatsApp number, billing address
- Business info: your products, catalog, pricing, knowledge base content (delivery policy, FAQs)
- Customer data you bring: contact details of YOUR customers that flow through your WhatsApp Business account (names, phone numbers, conversation history, order details)
- Payment info: when you pay us via JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer, or other methods, we receive transaction confirmation but do NOT store full card or bank credentials
- Support communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, or our support channels
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: how you interact with our dashboard, features used, time spent, errors encountered
- Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type
- Cookies & tracking: see Section 6
- Meta Pixel data: when you visit aiwhatbot.com, Meta Pixel collects standard analytics + conversion events
2.3 Information from WhatsApp / Meta
When you connect your WhatsApp Business account to AIWhatBot via Meta Cloud API:
- We receive messages your customers send to your WhatsApp number
- We receive metadata (sender phone, timestamps, message status)
- We do NOT have access to messages from other WhatsApp chats not connected to AIWhatBot
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate the AIWhatBot service (process WhatsApp messages via AI, manage your catalog, generate orders)
- Provide customer support
- Bill you and process payments
- Improve our product (analyze aggregate usage to fix bugs and design features)
- Send service notifications (account updates, billing reminders, security alerts)
- Comply with legal obligations under Pakistani law (PECA 2016 and applicable regulations)
We do NOTuse your data or your customers’ data to train AI models for other customers. Your data is yours.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- Meta (WhatsApp/Facebook): we use Meta Cloud API to send/receive WhatsApp messages on your behalf
- AI providers (Anthropic, etc.): customer messages are sent to AI providers to generate replies; messages are processed transiently and not used to train models
- Payment processors (JazzCash, Easypaisa, etc.): only transaction data needed to process payments
- Hosting providers (DigitalOcean / Hetzner / Supabase): secure infrastructure for data storage
- Analytics (PostHog, Meta Pixel): anonymised usage analytics on our website
- Legal authorities: if required by Pakistani law, court order, or government request
We do NOT sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
5. Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active + 90 days after cancellation
- Customer conversation data: retained as long as you maintain your account; you can request earlier deletion
- Billing records: retained for 7 years per Pakistani tax law
- Backups: purged 30 days after deletion
You can request data export or deletion at any time by emailing privacy@aiwhatbot.com.
6. Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses:
- Essential cookies (session, security) — required for the dashboard to work
- Analytics cookies (PostHog, Meta Pixel) — measure usage, ad performance
- No advertising cookies from third parties— we don’t sell ad space
You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent the dashboard from working.
7. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you (request a data export)
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and data (within 30 days of request)
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Withdraw consent at any time

If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you also have rights under GDPR (data portability, right to object, right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority).
If you are in Pakistan, your rights are governed by the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA) and the Personal Data Protection Bill (when enacted).
8. Security
We protect your data with:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Encryption at rest for databases
- Multi-tenant isolation (your data is segregated from other workspaces)
- Access controls and audit logs
- Regular security updates
No system is 100% secure. If we discover a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you within 72 hours.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data is stored on servers in Singapore or Europe (DigitalOcean / Hetzner regions). If you are in the EU/UK, transfers occur under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
10. Children’s Privacy
AIWhatBot is for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover such data, we will delete it.
11. WhatsApp Business Policy Compliance
By using AIWhatBot, you agree to comply with:
You are responsible for obtaining your customers’ opt-in consent before sending them WhatsApp messages via AIWhatBot.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via:
- Email to your registered address
- In-product banner
- A note on this page (with updated “Last updated” date above)
Continued use of AIWhatBot after a change means you accept the updated policy.
